
Each person’s needs are unique. Our walk-in resource centers in Northfield and Faribault are designed to offer support and resources that serve each individual in meaningful ways. Our staff are dedicated to building trust and relationships with community members seeking help. They support people in crisis and help connect to resources when needed. Any information shared with us is kept confidential.

CAC operates Northfield’s Clothes Closet, which provides discounted and sometimes free clothing and accessories to people in the Northfield area.

Each year, Operation Joy serves nearly 400 families. Donations from community members are shared with upwards of 1000 children.

Operation Backpack is a free community-based resource for students PreK-12 to receive a free backpack and school supplies; available to students.

Community Action Center Recovery Support helps individuals using or in recovery from substance abuse by providing FREE support and connections to community resources.

With a focus on fresh, healthy, and culturally specific foods ensures equitable access to food for those facing food insecurity.

We believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Unfortunately, many in our community struggle to find affordable housing or have lost their housing.
CAC’s vitality depends on the community — from volunteers to donations to program-specific support — so that we can continue to meet our neighbors’ basic needs.
