Operation Joy
Operation Joy 2022

OPERATION JOY REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. You may apply to be on the waitlist.

Operation Joy has served families in the Northfield community since the 1970s. Each year, nearly 400 families participate in the program, and donations from community members are shared with upwards of 1000 children.

Our goal is to provide each child with:

  • A Target giftcard, which allows families to choose that just-right gift for their child
  • A new book donated generously by Content Bookstore and their customers
  • A pair of pajamas and a family blanket, both lovingly sewn by local volunteers

Operation Joy 2022 will be held on Wednesday, December 7, at Community Action Center.

Share the Joy

Our goal is to provide a joyful holiday experience to all children in Northfield. At this time, the most impactful way our community can help us meet this goal is through monetary donations.

Donations will be used to purchase gift cards, which provide families the opportunity to select gifts their children will enjoy the most.

With a gift of $500 or more, businesses will be recognized on all event materials, including community posters, our Operation Joy webpage, Facebook posts, and a thank you in the Northfield News following the event.

***We also are in need of volunteers to sew pajamas. Volunteers work all year long, but they could use more help. Please reach out if you are able to help complete this project by the end of November. Contact Lisa Percy at gro.retnecnoitcaytinummoc@asil.ycrep.
