Promoting a Healthy, Caring,
and Just Community for All

Food Access

CAC distributes over 1.75 million pounds of food annually. With a focus on fresh, healthy, and culturally specific foods, our community-informed, community-tailored approach ensures equitable access to food for those facing food insecurity.

At CAC, we offer a variety of options for people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity and offer solutions to prevent eviction, stabilize crises, and find long-term housing solutions to create stability for individuals, children, and families.

Customized Resources

Each person’s needs are unique. Our walk-in resource centers in Northfield and Faribault are designed to offer support and resources that serve each individual in meaningful ways. No appointment is needed.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

We are a local community organization serving individuals and families throughout Rice County. Since 1969, Community Action Center’s (CAC) mission has been to promote a healthy, caring, and just community for all people through resources, advocacy, and volunteer effort.
