Runway Revival
Mother Earth Dress by Dina Fesler

Fashion Inspirations provided by Dina Fesler, Committee Member & Fashion Designer

“Walking on an oceanfront beach in 2016, I witnessed a tree being suffocated by plastic waste. This left a profound impact, prompting me to contemplate the prevalence of single-use plastics in modern-day society. I have since made a conscious effort to reduce plastic consumption and have created artwork using discarded plastic as a form of therapy. I hope to inspire others to take action towards a more sustainable future.” Dina lives in the Northfield area with her family.

This is not your typical fashion show!  It celebrates the creative talents of local artists who have designed wearable pieces using 90% recycled, upcycled, and reused materials.

In addition to a stunning fashion show, Runway Revival is also a fundraiser. Come learn about and celebrate the many environmentally sustainable efforts at CAC and throughout our community. All proceeds support CAC’s mission of providing basic needs including clothing, food, housing, employment, recovery, and more! Attendees will also enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, silent auction and raffle.

Taking place on Thursday, August 24 from 6-9pm at Carleton College’s Great Hall, this event is meant for everyone in our community. Come be inspired at this unique, artistic display.
