Christmas Sharing
The Christmas Sharing program is available to clients of the Community Action Center. Each child receives a pair of handmade pajamas, a book, puzzle or game, mittens or gloves, a small stocking stuffer gift and a main gift. Christmas Sharing serves kids of all ages — from newborns to high school seniors. Thousands of gifts are needed each year. Please consider purchasing a gift and dropping it off with the CAC receptionist or in a donation box at area banks, groceries, and churches. In 2012 Christmas Sharing will be held on December 12. The 2011 gift distribution was held on December 14. There were 866 children in nearly 400 families who had a merrier and brighter holiday because of the generosity of the community. Thanks to all of the Christmas Sharing donors and volunteers, especially the steering committee of Deb Laven, Mary Peterson, Ginny Walsh, Shirley Shaft, Sue Renander, Bernie Renander, Emily Schmitz, Kris Denison, and T.J. Heinricy!
