The Christmas Sharing program is available to clients of the Community Action Center. Each child receives a pair of handmade pajamas, a book, puzzle or game, mittens or gloves, a small stocking stuffer gift and a main gift. Christmas Sharing serves kids of all ages – from newborns to high school seniors.
Thousands of gifts are needed each year. Please consider purchasing a gift and dropping it off with the CAC receptionist or in a donation box at area banks, grocery stores and churches. We also appreciate donations of seasonal gift wrap and gift tags.
In 2014 we served 840 children in nearly 350 families, ensuring that they had a merrier and brighter holiday because of the generosity of the community. Thanks to all of the Christmas Sharing donors, volunteers, and local churches and businesses who provided drop box locations. We would also like to thank our 2015 Christmas Sharing Committee Aramis Wells, Deb Laven, Mary Peterson, Ginny Walsh, Emily Schmitz, Kris Dennison, Ruth Sommers, Matt Wagner and Sue deMalignon, Elaine Grisim and Debbie Haan!
