Bridges Out of Poverty Workshop: May 13

The Community Action Center of Northfield invites the public to Bridges Out of Poverty, an inspiring full-day workshop taking place on Wednesday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at St. Olaf College. This educational event, featuring presenter Jodi Pfarr, is designed to transform the way people think about poverty and the role they can have in ending it. The cost is $40 for the workshop. Northfield Liquor Store Contributes to CAC Food Shelf

Northfield Liquors

The Northfield Municipal Liquor Store collected $543 for the CAC Food Shelf during the October Fundraiser.  Stephen DeLong, manager of the store, was particularly please with his patrons’ generosity this year.  The Minnesota Municipal Beverage Association encourages local fundraisers for food by matching the local community’s collection.  The CAC would like to thank everyone who shared during the month of October.
