Social Worker

We are hiring for a part-time, temporary social worker.  The social worker will work from now until October 1 to assist with our homeless programs.  Responsibilities will include enrolling clients in our emergency shelter program, assisting participants to develop plans to achieve stable housing, and referring clients to outside resources, as appropriate.  This is a half time position for approximately 22 weeks.  For more information, contact us at 507-664-3550.

Bridges Out of Poverty Workshop: May 13

The Community Action Center of Northfield invites the public to Bridges Out of Poverty, an inspiring full-day workshop taking place on Wednesday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at St. Olaf College. This educational event, featuring presenter Jodi Pfarr, is designed to transform the way people think about poverty and the role they can have in ending it. The cost is $40 for the workshop. Give Kids A Smile Days: February 6 and 7
