Please join us on Saturday, May 11 from 3:15 – 5:00 in the Northfield High School cafeteria for a Latin dance fitness party to raise money for the Northfield Youth Sports Collaborative! All proceeds will go to the NYSC’s scholarship fund, allowing Northfield youth to participate in sports, regardless of income.

It’s been an exceptionally long winter, and we have heard from the YMCA that summer camps are filling exceptionally early this year. If you are interested in attending camp this summer, please call us as soon as possible!

The Community Action Center of Northfield (CAC), a nonprofit committed to meeting the basic needs of families in transition throughout the Northfield area, will relocate its Clothes Closet storefront from its current location in the Northfield Community Resource Center (NCRC) on Jefferson Parkway to 600 Water Street in downtown Northfield, the space in the River Park Mall that formerly housed Mr. Movies. Renovations to the space are underway, and the Clothes Closet, which offers gently used clothing and household goods, is expected to open in its new space with expanded hours for both shopping and donation drop-off the first part of June. more »

The CAC is seeking nominations for election to its Board of Directors. You many nominate yourself or someone else by completing an addplication, including a letter addressing the nominee’s skills, background, availability, and interest in serving on the Board. The Board meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 a.m.
